The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed about the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is sassa to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The company issue established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and enhance usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
